While it isn’t a good idea to indulge in laziness for lengthy periods of time making time to be leisurely and doing things simply because you enjoy doing them can do quite a lot for your happiness levels. If you are only doing things because they need to be done for work or even to keep your household running, it’s easy to run your emotions into the ground. Doing something just because you think it is fun helps you feel happy. This happiness makes the other things you have to get done feel less tedious. The less tedious you feel your life is, the better your emotional and mental health will be.
